Wonderful quote. I got to meet Stringfellow briefly just before he died. He came to my college for a lecture. He was very thin and just kind of wrapped himself in one of those folding chairs will little side desks attached, and spoke very softly. A great saint and prophet. Way ahead of the curve on the end of Christendom thing. His writings continue to inspire.
